Have Questions?

Program

Q. Which grade level is the camp for?

KBR Leaders Camp runs in two grade bands: Grades 5–6 and Grades 7–8.

The programme is tailored to students’ abilities and interests, giving them hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.

Q. What kind of activities do you do at the camp?

KBR Leaders Camp is a hands-on programme that lets students experience entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership firsthand.

Working in teams, students develop startup ideas, design business models, and analyze markets from an investor’s perspective. Through debates, pitching, and presentations, they strengthen their problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.

The camp also features guest lectures by global experts, team projects, leadership workshops, and recreational activities, all tailored to the participants’ ages and abilities.

Q. Can students take part if they are not fluent in English?

Yes. While all KBR Leaders Camp programmes are conducted in English, bilingual staff are on hand throughout so that every student can take part comfortably and confidently.

The camp is not designed to test perfect English. It focuses on helping students think and communicate in English while building confidence.

Any student with enthusiasm for learning English and a willingness to take part actively will enjoy and benefit from the camp.

Q. Is prior knowledge of finance or entrepreneurship required?

No prior knowledge is required. KBR Leaders Camp is designed to welcome students who are new to finance, investing, and entrepreneurship.

All activities begin with the fundamentals, so students learn and grow naturally through team projects, discussions, presentations, and pitching exercises.

More important than prior knowledge are curiosity about new challenges and a willingness to take part actively.

Q. Why should students learn about finance and business?

At KBR Leaders Camp, finance and business are taught not simply as academic subjects, but as tools for understanding the world.

Exploring how companies grow, why people make purchasing decisions, and how markets change helps students develop the critical-thinking and problem-solving skills essential for future leaders.

By analyzing real-world cases from the perspectives of entrepreneurs and investors, students learn to think independently and make informed decisions.

Daily life and safety

Q. How is the accommodation arranged?

Students are assigned rooms based on age and gender, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment throughout the camp.

A staff member is assigned to every group of up to eight students, providing attentive support throughout their daily routines so they can fully engage in and enjoy the camp.

Q. How is student safety managed?

Student safety is the top priority at KBR Leaders Camp.

Our organizers and staff remain on-site throughout the camp to supervise and support students during all activities. We strictly follow safety guidelines for each programme and have procedures in place to respond immediately to emergencies and promptly notify parents or guardians.

Every detail is carefully managed so that students can learn and grow in a safe environment.

What is included

Q. What is included in the participation fee?

Each student receives their team’s final project, a certificate of completion, and photos and videos of key camp activities. They also build a global network by connecting with peers from diverse backgrounds and gain confidence in taking on new challenges.
